Salman Khan ends his alleged romance with Iulia Vantur under his parent's insistence
Salman Khan’s love life has always created as many headlines as his films. And if rumours are to be believed the star has ended his alleged romance with his Romanian girlfriend Iulia Vantur. And interestingly, it’s being said that it was at his parents’ insistence that Salman decided to call it quits.
Ever since his break-up with his alleged girlfriend Katrina Kaif, Salman had moved on with Iulia, an actress and TV presenter. The star was believed to be quite smitten with her as he allegedly even gave her a place to stay in Mumbai. But constant buzz about her being previously married started causing ripples in the Khan family.
A source says, “Iulia apparently is married to a Grammy nominated musician Marius Moga. When she was confronted about it, she kept denying the allegations. That was when Salman’s family decided to step in and take charge of the situation.”
And as more and more information about Iulia’s past was unearthed, the Khan family apparently decided it was best if the couple parted ways. Those close to the star say that even though he had already received his visa for London, Salman stayed back in the city to sort the matter out with his family.
“He was spotted spending Eid alone with close friend Baba Siddiqui for company at a restaurant and then at a club,” adds the source.’ And Iulia who had earlier accompanied Salman to Hyderabad during the shoot of Sohail Khan’s upcoming film is believed to have packed her bags and gone back to Romania.

The unwitting victims of Salman Khan’s hit-and-run case
The makers of ‘Kick’ have become the unwitting victims of Salman Khan’s legal troubles. The film’s team is currently in the UK waiting for their leading actor whose visa was rejected by the British embassy last week. Salman re-applied and got the visa four days ago but he is still in India.
The schedule was supposed to kickstart on July 27 but has been irrevocably delayed. The situation looks set to get worse with the next hearing in the hit-and-run case against the actor looming on August 19.
Sajid Nadiadwala, producer-director of the film flew to the UK in the last week of July and has been waiting there for Sallu with the rest of the cast and crew. And the stay is eating into the film’s budget. When contacted, Salim Khan, said that Salman will leave for the UK on Sunday or Monday. “But if he doesn’t get a court exemption he may have to come back for the hearing slated for August 19,” he added.
In that case, Sajid will have to cool his heels in the UK until Sallu returns. “Films do have their share of ups and downs. This is one such,” Salim replied when asked about the film’s fate.
While a source from the industry says that Nadiadwala has shot a few scenes with Jacqueline Fernandez and Randeep Hooda in Salman’s absence, the film’s schedule has suffered a big setback. “Salman is in most of the scenes. Without him, it is not easy to make much headway in the film,” the source told Mirror.

Salman & Katrina Backed Out Of Chicago Show
Commemorating the centenary year of Indian Cinema in Chicago, the grand show was supposed to bring together Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan on stage after a long time. The show was scheduled to be held in Hoffman Estates in Chicago end August.
However, fresh reports suggest that the show has been called off due to the unavailability of Salman Khan. The actor was going to work on his upcoming film Kick before Chicago. But since there was a delay in his U.K VISA, the shooting schedule of Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick got delayed!
Salman will now single mindedly focus on Kick and hence it will be tough for him to take out time for a stage concert in middle of shooting. Katrina too, is busy with her projects especially Dhoom 3 which is on in full force and is scheduled to wrap up soon enough to be ready to release in December.
Besides the two big stars backing out, the other stars who were to accompany them have given away their dates as well and hence the Chicago show stands cancelled for now. This would have been Salman’s first performance in the city after a gap of 7 years.

Salman's UK visa rejected
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who was to leave for London to shoot for Sajid Nadiadwala’s next film, has been unable to cross the Indian shores. According to reports, Salman’s visa has been allegedly rejected and no explanation has been given for the same. The shooting of the film is already underway and Salman was to join the unit last week. However, his visa got cancelled and he has unable to fly to London.
While no one really knows what went wrong, insiders reveal that proceedings against Salman in hit and run case could be the main reason for it. Nowadays, securing a UK visa has become very difficult as the rules have become very stringent. Any court case against you, irrespective of your power or position, could go against securing a UK visa.
Though the court has framed the charges against the superstar, the case has been adjourned till August 19.
The star may apply for the visa again next week. However, with the charges against the actor, will he be able to get the visa? That is worth discussing.

It’s none of anybody’s business about my relationship with Salman: SRK
The much-talked about hug shared by Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan at an iftaar party a few days back may have set tongues wagging about the superstars’ relationship, but the former says it’s none of anybody’s business.
“I will be very honest. Whether it’s my relationships, friendships, personal aspects… I have never dignified it by talking about it in the public and I would like to keep it like this,” the 47-year-old said at the launch of a mobile game based on his film “Chennai Express”.
On July 21, SRK and Salman faced each other at the Congress leader Baba Siddique’s annual iftaar party and they shook hands and hugged each other.
But SRK closed the chapter by saying that the media should not expect any kind of explanation from him on the issue ever.
“So much is said, so much is heard, and too much is written. But as far as I am concerned… I have never spoken about it and I am not going to begin now. It’s for everyone to take it forth, there is nothing coming in terms of explanation,” he said.
Shah Rukh and Salman were not on talking terms post the incident at Katrina Kaif’s birthday bash in 2008.

Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan finally hugs each other at Iftaar Party
Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan’s rivalry is known in Bollywood. The two who had once been friends fought at Katrina Kaif’s birthday bash few years ago and the two never met eye to eye in public events and always avoided one another.
Now the two Superstars of Bollywood has come together at the recently held Iftaar Party at a five star hotel in Mumbai hosted by Baba Siddiqui and surprisingly the two even hugged each other ending their rivalry.
Here is the picture of SRK and Sallu Bhai at the party and Salman hugging Shahrukh and is snapped giving a pat on is his back, who was sitting next to Salim Khan.

Shahrukh befriended Abhinav Kashyap who shares a bitter relationship with Salman Khan
The Shahrukh – Salman cold war is not something new in Bollywood. For years, these two actors have been warring against each other, be it through their films or their fan clubs. Latest we hear that Shahrukh has made a master move of sorts and befriended someone who is not so much of a friend of Salman Khan’s.
We are talking about Shahrukh Khan signing up a film with director Abhinav Kashyap, who has had a bitter relationship with Salman Khan. Well, call it a move to befriend the enemy’s enemy or just plain coincidence, but this hasn’t gone too well at the Khan Camp.
Abhinav Kashyap is the same director who after directing Salman Khan’s ‘Dabanng’, refused to direct the sequel. Since then, he has been off the Salman radar and now his association with SRK is not doing any good.
“Abhinav and SRK have been friends for years and that is why they often meet up. But right now there is nothing concrete. They have always wanted to work together but currently that’s about it. There is no script and no discussion” said a source, clearing the rumour that SRK had actually strategized this move.
We hear that after the completion of Shahrukh’s ‘Happy New Year’ with Farah Khan and Abhinav Kashyap’s project with Ranbir, the duo will start shooting for their film together.
Now, how is Salman going to react for this? We need to wait and watch. The only thing we can tell is that Salman seems to be having a tough time these days with everyone from heroines to directors getting the best of him!

Salman Khan refuses to intimate Jacqueline Fernandez
Superstar Salman Khan might be a bad boy in his real life, taking his alleged affairs and innumerable girlfriends in consideration. But, the actor knows his limit onscreen. Unlike other actors, Salman Khan is not very keen on doing kissing scenes or intimate scenes in films. And now again, Sallu miyaan would follow the same in his upcoming movie Kick, opposite Jacqueline Fernandez.
According to a leading daily, the film Kick had a scene, in which Jacqueline Fernandez was required to seduce Salman, that would have led to an intimate scene. Reportedly, when this scene was narrated to Sallu, the actor immediately refused to do it, giving the reason that it would look cheap and vulgar onscreen.
It is further said that the makers of the film have decided to delete the scene completely, keeping Salman's comfort level in mind. On other hand, we remember, when Sallu's arch rival Shahrukh Khan had done quite a few liplocks and steamy scenes in the film Jab Tak Hai Jaan, alongside the former's girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

Jiah Khan's Suicide: Salman Khan, Suniel Shetty support Suraj Pancholi
Even before Suraj Pancholi has been convicted in Jiah Khan’s suicide case, he is already a villain and in such testing times when the tide is turned against him, Salman Khan, Sunil Shetty have come out in the open to support media’s favorite villain of the moment. Salman Khan too is showing his silent support to Suraj Pancholi.
When asked if he would reconsider Athiya’s Bollywood debut with Sooraj, Suniel Shetty told DNA, “I never said that! I don’t, for a moment, regret the decision to launch my daughter with Sooraj. Why should I? He is as much my child as Aathiya. This (the crisis post Jiah Khan’s suicide) can happen to anyone. God forbid any parent should go through what Aditya and Zarina are going through right now. And I can’t even begin to imagine Jiah’s mother’s grief. Even if my daughter gets a scratch I am inconsolable. To lose one’s child is beyond any comprehension,” he added.
Here is how Salman Khan and Sunil Shetty are supporting Suraj Pancholi in their own ways.
Salman Khan has not even made efforts to call off the project after Suraj’s alleged involvement in Jiah Khan’s suicide case.
Salman Khan was to launch Suraj Pancholi in Bollywood with Suneil Shetty’s daughter Athiya in his production venture Hero.
Salman Khan had first noticed Sooraj Pancholi while he was working as an Assistant Director in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.
Despite the media highlighting Salman Khan’s connection with Suraj, Salman has chosen to remain silent on the whole issue there by showing his silent support for Suraj Pancholi.
On the other hand Suniel Shetty reasons, “They had a relationship. Whatever happened between them is known only to them. No second person can take responsibility for an individual’s death. I’ve met Suraj. He’s sweet, soft spoken boy. I don’t see him harming anyone, least of all someone he loved.”
Suniel also confirms that the project is not even being called off after Suraj’s alleged involvement in Jiah Khan’s suicide case, “We start shooting for ‘Hero’ with my daughter and Suraj in September-October. One thing is for sure. All this controversy makes no difference to the project. Salman knows what he is doing. And I’ve full faith in Salman, the project and in Suraj.”

Personal Quotes
The only person I have hurt is myself.
For me acting, comes straight from the heart. In that sense I don't act at all. I think that to feel the character's pain I have to be myself. Somewhere audiences see that.
On his childhood problems and his father's second marriage to Helen: It was very difficult in the beginning, when everybody was talking about it. My mother just couldn't take it. It hurt her terribly. She used to worry all the time, go in to depression frequently. When she cried, we children used to cry with her.
In life go straight and turn right.
(From a TV-interview) I can get caught in many things but there is one thing I will never get caught in, and that is acting - because I don't act. On screen I am like I am in real life.
Why should I marry? One marries to have children, but I already have children! My nieces and nephews are my children. I wanted to marry to make babies, but now I have them, so marriage isn't that important, is it?
I'm not possessive, I'm caring... Once you realize a person doesn't want that much care, you automatically back off.
[Salman speaking about Rani Mukerji on Big Boss] She [Rani] is one of the best actresses we have in the country... And an amazing dancer... Look at that smile! Love you, Rani.
Sometimes it happens with me that I start laughing and just can't stop.
She [Rani Mukerji] knows who she is and what she can do. After a long time Bollywood has got an actress like Rani. She is naughty, masti khor and a wonderful friend. She has taken acting as her career and given her 100%. Somehow Rani has acting in her genes.
[When asked about the best actresses from the current crop] There's Rani, then there's Preity, Based on work, Aishwarya... Priyanka is very good... Then there are the new girls like Lara and Katrina. [When asked his favorite and the best out the lot] As an actor? Rani Mukerji. [Smiles]
