First Look: Dhoom 3 (2013)
The first look and motion poster of DHOOM: 3, third installment of DHOOM, is out. The poster features Aamir Khan flaunting his chiseled bare back.
However, Aamir’s pose, especially, his super physique give us a sense of deja vu. The way it introduces the actor quite reminds us of his film GHAJINI.
If you recollect, the first poster of GHAJINI had the perfectionist exposing his bare-back and brawny body.
Aamir Khan plays a baddie in DHOOM: 3, while Katrina Kaif will be his love interest in the film. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will be once again seen in the cop role.
Written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, Dhoom 3 is produced by Aditya Chopra.
DHOOM:3 is slated to release in Christmas 2013.

Why Chennai Express Is A Blockbuster
Having broken every box-office record in less than a week since it released, Shah Rukh Khan and Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express is the new gold standard when it comes to blockbusters. Despite average reviews, Chennai Express did not derail and continues to enjoy good word of mouth among masses. A simple, mainstream comedy that ticks all the boxes of a commercial entertainer, Chennai Express has benefited from a lead pair that does not take itself too seriously, and a director who believes in giving the audience exactly what they want.
Doses Of Clean Family Humor
Top rated TV shows like Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Comedy Nights With Kapil, give a fair idea of the kind of comedies Indian audiences relate to. And Rohit Shetty is one filmmaker who gets this style bang on. His comedy may not be the LOL kind that an in-form David Dhawan can execute, but he manages to mix a bit of everything that makes Indians laugh. So be it doing Bollywood spoofs or playing on different regional accents or rehashing SMS jokes, Shetty and his writers serve a thali that appeals to everyone from the age of 8 to 80 in the great Indian family. And like Golmaal 3 and Bol Bachchan, his Chennai Express too has something for everyone.
Shah Rukh Khan's Star Power
He may not be the 20-something Rahul of Dil To Pagal Hai, but SRK proves that when it comes to shear screen presence and dialog delivery, he still packs in a solid punch. So when he carries his girl and climbs the steps of a temple, or takes-on her father with a fiery speech in the end, you can't help but surrender in front of his persona.
Deepika Padukone, The Hero Of Chennai Express
The debate over the authenticity of her Tamil accent is irrelevant. What matters now is the acknowledgment of this 'once-wooden' actress' evolution into a bona-fide star, who can hold her own in the presence of any superstar. A transformation that began with Cocktail, and evolved with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is now complete with Chennai Express. And the fact that her acting chops have peaked at a time when she is looking her best, is a double bonanza for all filmmakers who are queuing up outside her van to make most of the Deepika Padukone phenomena. Deepika drives this train in a way Sridevi and Madhuri used to dominate their films in the early 90s.
Positivity Towards SRK
Be the birth of AbRam or the Salman Khan hug; SRK's happyness quotient is up again. Suddenly all the negativity that had crept into SRK's image post RaOne, seems to be a thing of the past. Staying away from any sort of ugly controversy, SRK has allowed Chennai Express to do all the talking in the promotion of the film. And that has translated into a positive vibe towards the film in the eyes of the paying public, who have welcomed the film with open arms. So much so that despite being constantly compared to Ek Tha Tiger in its box office performance, the film has managed to escape the Khan war and has the nod of the entire trade and fraternity.

Reasons that makes Sharukh-Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express distinctive
Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express is releasing this Friday and with the extravagant promotions, the buzz around the film is expectedly high. With Shah Rukh, Rohit Shetty and Deepika Padukone being at the helm of the affairs, needless to say, almost every other person is looking forward to the film. We tell you what makes Chennai Express special.
Shah Rukh Khan, undoubtedly, is the numero uno drawing factor for the film. More importantly because he will not be seen in his regular comfort zone of romance and is going beyond boundaries to feature in an action comedy. The last time he tried to do something different with Ra.One, he burnt his hands badly. Nevertheless the buzz around Chennai Express seems to be quite positive.
Director Rohit Shetty is a brand at par with Shah Rukh Khan, if not more. The filmmaker has made a name for himself with his brand of action-comedy films and more importantly is also tagged as the president of the Rs 100 crore club in Bollywood (what with most of his films reaching that mark). Evidently he is one director who was present at all the promotional events of the film with SRK and Deepika. Also the trailer carries his distinct ‘Rohit Shetty entertainer’ mark.
Deepika Padukone made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om and the duo shared splendid chemistry. So getting to see them together once again is a treat.
While Chennai Express stars superstar Shah Rukh per se, it pays a tribute to an even bigger superstar – Rajinikanth. Shah Rukh and Deepika do the lungi dance and this in a way is a tribute to the Thalaivar. If you remember, Rajinikanth had a cameo appearance in SRK’s Ra.One where he appeared in the form of ‘Chitti’ – his character from the film Robot. Many feel Rajini’s one-scene appearance had a better impact than whole of Ra.One. Hope the Rajinikanth magic works this time as well!
When names like Shah Rukh Khan and Rohit Shetty are taken in the same breath, one can’t miss the 100 crore mention. Today, it doesn’t matter whether a film is good or bad or even whether a film is hit or flop. The new business benchmark is whether a film touches Rs 100-crore club. And this time it’s not just the trade circles who are talking about it. The satellite rights of Chennai Express have been sold at a whopping Rs 48 crores and further to that, in a first of its kind deal, the film might make more money for its satellite rights if it crosses the Rs 100 crore mark. This time even the makers can’t shy away from saying that they don’t contemplate of the 100 crore club.
A Shah Rukh Khan release has always been synonymous with festival. Most SRK films from DDLJ, K2H2 to Jab Tak Hai Jaan have released during Diwali. This time Shah Rukh has captured the Eid season, a period when usually Salman Khan’s films release (Wanted, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger). Such is the impact of the film that the other big release of the season Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai Dobaara has make a business-smart decision of moving ahead by a week over the ego and box-office clash.
In times when films are not even shown to the media before Friday in fear of negative word of mouth, Chennai Express brings back the trend of paid previews on Thursday evening. While some would consider that releasing a film on Thursday only means more revenues, it is a very risky decision for the fact that if the junta dislikes it, the business can fall drastically on Friday, even before the weekend sets in. But the extensive previews from early Thursday evening, speaks a lot about the confidence that the makers have in the film.
So Ready, Steady, Po!

August 2: The day Amitabh Bachchan Reborned
“Happy birthday Mr B, and never forget I was the first one to wish you” – this was Amitabh Bachchan’s blog post, dated July 31/August 1, 2012.
This year too, Mr Bachchan has not forgotten the day of his “rebirth” and nor have we. We woke up to this post on his Facebook page: “Aug 2, the day I lived again … my Coolie accident … brought to Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai and second surgery performed, where when I did not come out, was clinically dead for a few minutes … so many that know wish me a Happy Birthday for today … Many thanks in advance ..for it was the prayers of millions of my countrymen that saved my life.”
31 years ago, on July 26 1982, Amitabh Bachchan suffered his famous near-fatal accident while shooting Manmohan Desai’s Coolie in Bangalore. A mistimed jump in a fight scene with co-star Puneet Issar made him hit the corner of a table, instead of landing on top of it as he was meant to.
In instant and excruciating pain, a bleeding Mr Bachchan staggered out of the set and onto the lawns of Bangalore University, where the film was being shot. At first, crew members thought he was faking – and then they realized he wasn’t.
Director Manmohan Desai made immediate arrangements to fly his injured star to Mumbai. En route, Mr Bachchan was barely conscious and could not speak. The plane landed at Mumbai’s Santa Cruz airport where Big B’s Silsila director Yash Chopra had organized an ambulance to take him straight to Breach Candy Hospital.
Doctors operated immediately but, even with the emergency splenectomy, Mr Bachchan remained close to death. The nation mourned, fans thronged temples offering to sacrifice limbs in exchange for their hero’s recovery. Mr Bachchan’s wife, Jaya, walked barefoot from Breach Candy to Siddhi Vinayak Temple everyday to pray. Prime Minister Indira Gandhi visited the hospital.
There was still no sign of life – till August 2. In a last ditch measure, doctors injected adrenaline straight into Mr Bachchan’s heart. Almost immediately, Jaya Bachchan saw one of his toes move and exclaimed “Look, he’s alive.” August 2 became Big B’s “second birthday.”
Mr Bachchan would stay in hospital for many months before making a full recovery and resume shooting Coolie. The film, which released in November 14 1983, went straight to the top of the box office charts. The fight sequence between Amitabh Bachchan and Puneet Issar was frozen at a certain point and a superimposed message marked it as the exact moment when Mr Bachchan was injured. Director Manmohan Desai rewrote the ending of the film to have Mr Bachchan’s character recover from an operation, just like he had done in real life. It would be inappropriate for the man who had cheated death for real not to do so on screen, the director said.

ShahRukh becomes father to a boy again
The month-long wait for details of actor Shah Rukh Khan’s third baby, born with the help of a surrogate mother, is over.
BMC officials have received a birth report with details that a baby boy was born on May 27 to parents listed as Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Shah Rukh Khan at Masrani Hospital for Women in Andheri. The child was born at 34 weeks of pregnancy and weighed 1.5kg at birth, said BMC executive health officer Dr Arun Bamne.
The baby was reportedly taken from Masrani to Nanavati Hospital, Juhu, and finally to Breach Candy Hospital. It is believed that the child has been discharged from Breach Candy and is home with the Khans.
On Tuesday, Bamne told TOI, “We have received from Masrani Nursing Home a birth report, which has to be mandatorily filed by nursing homes and hospitals to register every birth in the city.”
Masrani Hospital is located in Lalubhai Compound, S V Road, Andheri (W).
On the basis of this birth report the BMC has to issue a birth certificate to the parents.
There are no official details about the surrogate mother, but some reports in the media had said that Gauri’s sister-in-law Namita Chibber may have been the surrogate. Khan family friends said the surrogate mother had already flown back to London.
Civic officials said the birth report was received by K-West Ward officials in June-end and was immediately sent to the head office because there was widespread controversy over whether a pre-natal sex determination test had been conducted. Reports in a section of the press had said that the baby’s gender had been known before birth, suggesting the use of sex-determination methods.
While Indian guidelines for Assisted Reproductive Techniques allow the use of surrogate mothers, the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques Act forbids testing to determine the gender of a foetus.
The BMC had sent a team to Khan’s residence on June 18 to determine the facts of the case, but the actor denied the reports. “Now that we have the birth certificate, we will follow the details of the child’s journey from the nursing home to Nanavati Hospital in Juhu to Breach Candy Hospital,” said a civic official.
When contacted, BMC additional municipal commissioner Manisha Mhaiskar said, “Our officials will now get back to the actor and get details about whether sex-determination tests were done in Mumbai.”

King Khan in surrogacy controversy
Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri, who are reportedly expecting a third child through surrogacy, have landed into trouble. As the radiologists’ association has asked the state health department to inquire into news reports claiming that actor’s child through surrogacy is a boy.
Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan was in the midst of a controversy following reports that he has gone for a pre-birth sex determination test for a third child through surrogacy, Zee News reports.
When contacted, an aide of the actor refused to respond on the issue. “We are not commenting,” the aide said when asked about reports that SRK was expecting a baby boy through surrogacy. A senior Maharashtra government official said that they had asked the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to verify reports following a demand for an inquiry by an NGO and Indian Radiological and Imaging Association.
“The civic body officials are the appropriate authority for implementation of the Pre-Conception Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act in the municipal corporation areas,” the official said.
Meanwhile, doctors from the health department of the BMC visited the actor`s residence Mannat in suburban Bandra to inquire but had to return as SRK was not at home.
“Our officials went to his residence. They were told by Shahrukh`s business manager that the actor has not made any statement on expecting a baby boy through surrogacy,” said the civic body`s health department executive health officer Dr Arun Bamne. The PCPNDT Act provides for the prohibition of sex selection in the country before or after conception.
Though the report has not been confirmed by the actor or by his spokesperson but it suggested that it was Gauri’s idea to go for the child through surrogacy.
However, recent report published by a leading publication suggests Indian Radiological and Imaging Associations has demanded clarity on the issue.
“We have written to the state health department to find out how the actor came to know about the unborn child’s sex when sex determination is illegal in India,” leading publication quoted Dr Jignesh Thakkar, coordinator for the Pre-Conception Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act, IRIA, as saying.
In the email sent to the top state health department officials, including state health minister Suresh Shetty, IRIA has asked for an investigation and action against those concerned.
Doctors say there is a breach of law on the part of celebrities. “If news reports are true then it is a clear that the celebrities can get away with breaking the law,” said Thakker.
Shah Rukh and Gauri have been married for the past 22 years and have two kids Aryan (15) and Suhana (13).

Jiah's suicide letter & other 5 love letter's handwritings do not match! Is the suicide letter fake?
Ever since Jiah Khan committed suicide, and Suraj Pancholi landed in the eye of a storm, a bitter battle has erupted between the two aggrieved mothers. On one hand, Rabia Khan has been gathering evidence to build a strong case against the Pancholi family, on the other, Suraj’s mother, Zarina Wahab, has been fighting tooth and nail to insulate her son from surging public outrage.
And now, TOI has obtained copies of Jiah’s ‘last letter’ and a set of five love letters that she wrote to Suraj during their ill-fated affair. The findings seem to suggest that the handwritings do not match.
A senior police officer (on request of anonymity) from Juhu Police Station said, “If you look at the letters which were at Jiah and Suraj’s house, you get a feeling that something is definitely not all right. However, it will be wrong to say anything emphatically until we get a confirmation from forensic experts.”
To solve the mystery of the mismatched handwriting, cops have now asked for answer sheets and bank forms filled by the late actor.
When contacted, Zarina said, “Yes, I am aware that the handwritings look different in the two sets. I think Rabia did not account for the fact that her daughter wrote love letters to my son. She was living under the impression that she only called and texted him. The truth will be out very soon.”
Added Zarina, “I have faith in God. Once forensic experts say emphatically that the letter, which Rabia handed over to the police, was not written by Jiah, I shall take legal action against that woman. But let me add that I shall consult my lawyers in detail before taking any step. I shall not do anything undignified and unjustified.”
On the other hand, when TOI contacted Rabia, she did not take the call. Jiah’s sister Kavita responded, saying, “My sister is unwell. She can’t talk. The cops who claim that the handwritings have not matched, have not notified us. We maintain that none other than Jiah wrote the letter, which they have collected from our house. Nobody knows Jiah’s handwriting better than us. It would be silly to imagine that we would stoop so low so as to fix something like to deal with our angst.”
Shah Rukh, Gauri Khan to have third baby
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is going to become a father for the third time.
Media reports suggest that power couple are apparently having a third child through surrogacy. This is a secret and very few people are privy to this news. However, the news has now been leaked out by media including Zoom TV.
According to a source close to King Khan, the baby is a boy and it was Gauri’s decision to go in for surrogacy.
It is also reported that the couple consulted the same doctor that Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao went to for their baby, Azad, who was given birth by a surrogate mother.
Shah Rukh’s kids Aryan (15) and Suhana (13) are very excited about the new arrival as they will have a baby brother to play with. Meanwhile, preparations have started in Mannat to welcome the new bundle of joy.

Chennai Express (2013) Exclusive Trailer !
Meet Rahul, 40. He gets on the Chennai Express and has a hilarious encounter with Priya, the feisty daughter of a South Indian don.
The trailer of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's much-awaited Chennai Express, about a journey from Mumbai to Rameshwaram, is here. Packed with action and laughs, director Rohit Shetty's first film with SRK promises to be a blockbuster. This could easily be the film of the year, unless Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3 spoils the party.
Shah Rukh Khan, who has a seemingly endless supply of comic one-liners, is the funniest we've seen in a long time as Bollywood's first officially middle-aged hero. But Deepika Padukone might just prove herself the real star of the film, with a hilarious performance as a Tamil belle.
Chennai Express re-unites SRK and Deepika six years after their first film together, Om Shanti Om, which was Deepika's debut.
Director Rohit Shetty, known for films like the Golmaal series, Singham and Bol Bachchan, has an enviable box office track record with a string of blockbusters each earning over Rs 100 crores. His usual collaborator is Ajay Devgn. August 8, the release date of Chennai Express, will prove if Mr Shetty can spin the same magic with SRK.

Suraj Pancholi arrested post Jiah Khan's suicide note reveals
Bollywood actor AdityaPancholi’s son Suraj has been arrested by Mumbai Police in connection with the suicide of actor Jiah Khan. Suraj was reportedly in a relationship with Jiah and he was the last person Jiah spoke to over the phone before committing suicide.
Jiah, who committed suicide last Monday, was heartbroken because of her boyfriend Suraj Pancholi’s “womanizing”, a note found three days after her death has revealed, even as her mother on Monday claimed she suffered “trauma and abuse” at the hands of her lover and his father.
The note mentions the “deep hurt” the 25-year-old felt at having to abort her baby with Suraj and reflects the rocky relationship she had with her boyfriend, son of actor couple Aditya Pancholi and Zareena Wahab.
Suraj and Aditya Pancholi have already been questioned in connection with the incident and a source in the police department said there was “sufficient evidence” to arrest Jiah’s boyfriend.
The 5-page note, meant for Suraj which has been handed over to the police, says,” When I first met you (Suraj) I was driven, ambitious and disciplined. Then I fell for you, a love I thought would bring out the best in me. I don’t know why destiny brought us together. After all the pain, the rape, the abuse, the torture I have seen previously I didn’t deserve this.”
“I don’t know how to say this to you but I might as well now as I have nothing to lose. I’ve already lost everything. If you’re reading this I might have already left or about to leave. I am broken inside,” the document which reads like a suicide note, says.
“You may not have known this but you affected me deeply to a point where I lost myself in loving you. Yet you tortured me everyday. These days I see no light I wake up not wanting to wake up,” it said, mirroring the troubled state of the actress’ mind.
The letter reads, “It didn’t matter how many gifts I gave you or how beautiful I looked for you. I was scared of getting pregnant but I gave myself completely (the) pain you have caused me everyday has destroyed every bit of me, destroyed my soul.”
Jiah wrote, “If I stay here I will crave you and miss you. So I am kissing my 10-year career and dreams goodbye. I never told you but I received a message about you. About you cheating on me. I chose to ignore it, decided to trust you. You embarrassed me.”
The actress felt “deeply” hurt after she had to abort her baby.
“You destroyed my life. It hurt me so much that I waited for you for ten days and you didn’t bother buying me something. The Goa trip was my birthday present but even after you cheated I still spent on you. I aborted our baby when it hurt me deeply,” Jiah said in the letter.

Jiah Khan’s 6 page suicide letter REVEALED !
Jiah Khan’s mother Rabiya Khan found six pages of letter in her wallet box when she was searching for poems written by Jiah to be read out at her prayer meet held yesterday.
To all concerned,
Some sections of the media and some film industry people are speculating that my daughter Jiah committed suicide because of depression related to her career. However the truth is that it happened only because of the trauma and the abuse she suffered at the hands of Suraj Pancholi and his father Aditya Pancholi.
This I know from what Jiah shared with her sisters and me and also from this letter written by Jiah herself that I am attaching here with which was found three days later by my younger daughter in a wallet box belonging to Jiah when she was searching for some poems written by Jiah to be read out at her prayer meeting.
I have decided to make this letter public so that everyone may know the truth behind my daughter’s tragedy.

Jiah’s letter to Suraj pancholi

I’ve never given so much of myself to someone or cared so much. You returned my love with cheating and lies. It didn’t matter how many gifts I gave you or how beautiful I looked for you. I was scared of getting pregnant but I gave myself completely the pain you have caused me everyday has destroyed every bit of me, destroyed my soul. I can’t eat or sleep or think or function. I am running away from everything. The career is not even worth it anymore.Rabiya khan
Jiah’s letter to Suraj pancholi
When I first met you I was driven, ambitious and disciplined. Then I fell for you, a love I thought would bring out the best in me. I don’t know why destiny brought us together. After all the pain, the rape, the abuse, the torture I have seen previously I didn’t deserve this. I didn’t see any love or commitment from you. I just became increasingly scared that you would hurt me mentally or physically. Your life was about partying and women. Mine was you and my work. If I stay here I will crave you and miss you. So I am kissing my 10-year career and dreams goodbye. I never told you but I received a message about you. About you cheating on me. I chose to ignore it, decided to trust you. You embarrassed me. I never went out, I never went with anyone else. I am a loyal person. I never met anyone with Karthik I just wanted you to feel how you make me feel constantly. No other woman will give you as much as I did or love you as much as I did. I can write that in my blood. Things were looking up for me here, but is it worth it when you constantly feel the pain of heartbreak when the person you love wants to abuse you or threatens to hit you or cheats on you telling other girls they are beautiful or throws you out of their house when you have no where to go and you’ve come to them out of love or when they lie to your face or they make you chase after them in their car. Or disrespects their family. You never even met my sister. I bought your sister presents. You tore my soul. I have no reason to breathe anymore. All I wanted was love. I did everything for you. I was working for us. But you were never my partner. My future is destroyed my happiness snatched away from me. I always wished the best for you, was ready to invest what little money I had in your betterment. You never appreciated my love, Kicked me in the face. I have no confidence or self esteem left, whatever talent whatever ambition you took it all away. You destroyed my life. It hurt me so much that I waited for you for ten days and you didn’t bother buying me something.
The Goa trip was my birthday present but even after you cheated I still spent on you. I aborted our baby when it hurt me deeply. You destroyed my Christmas and my birthday dinner when I came back. When I tried my hardest to make your birthday special. You chose to be away from me on Valentines Day. You promised me once we made it to one year we would get engaged. All you want in life is partying, your women and your selfish motives. All I wanted was you and my happiness you took both away from me. I spent money on you selflessly you would throw in my face. When I would cry for you. I have nothing left in this world to live for after this. I wish you had loved me like I loved you. I dreamt of our future. I dreamt of our success. I leave this place with nothing but broken dreams and empty promises. All I want now is to go to sleep and never wake up again. I am nothing. I had everything. I felt so alone even while with you. You made me feel alone and vulnerable. I am so much more than this.”

5th Kela Awards: Ajay & Sonakshi The Worst Actors
Son of Sardar stars Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha have been named as the worst actors of 2012 while Joker has earned Shirish Kunder the worst film and director trophies at the 5th annual Golden Kela awards here.
Shah Rukh Khan was given a special award 'Superhit of 2012' for his alleged slap episode with Kunder, who was also a winner in 'Beta Tumse Na Ho Payega' (son, this is beyond you) category.
The awards, modelled on Golden Raspberry Awards, celebrate the best of the worst in Bollywood.
Superstar Salman Khan starrer Dabang 2 won the award for worst sequel of 2012 while Bhatt camp was blamed for making "series of irritating movies and horrible sequels" at the awards held here.
"We do this every year from past five years because we love cinema. We don't make any money out of it," said Jatin Varma, Founder, Golden Kela Awards.
Honouring the best films of last year, the Anti-Kela awards were given to Paan Singh Tomar, Kahaani, Vicky Donor and Gangs of Wasseypur.
Advaita Kala, writer of Kahaani was present at the event to collect the Anti-Kela award on behalf of the cast and crew of Kahaani.
"This is the first time that I have come for an award function. So, it is very special and memorable. The award is special for me as the story has a strong female character," Kala said.
The most 'Atrocious' lyrics award was won by Anvita Dutt for her song Ishq Wala Love from the movie Student of the Year. Dutt was present at the ceremony to receive her award, becoming the first person to receive her Golden Kela in person.
"When I was writing the song, Shekhar (Music Director) came to me and said you will win an award for the song one day. When I got to know of the nomination I called them to say if you will give me an award I will wear my most expensive designer saree and they said these awards are not rigged though I am genuinely touched to receive the award," Dutt said before thanking Karan Johar for the trophy.
The most irritating song award was given to Chinta Ta Chita Chitafrom 100-crore earning film Rowdy Rathore.
'Why Are You Still Trying' award went to actor Jackky Bhagnani, whose latest release was Rangrezz.
The quirky award ceremony also slammed Indian audiences for spending money on bad movies and helping them earn 100 crores. The audience was given 'Bawara ho gaya hai ke' (Have you gone mad) award.
The organisers of the event paid their tribute to comedian Japsal Bhatti, who was the first and only recipient of 'Lifetime Achievement Golden Kela' award. Jaspal Bhatti died in October, 2012 in a car accident.

Mona Singh's 'Morphed' MMS clip Goes Viral
The Kya Huaa Tera Vaada actor has lodged a complaint with the cyber crime branch against an MMS video that has gone viral on the net.
Mona Singh is fuming. The popular TV star of soaps such as Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin and Kya Huaa Tera Vaada has filed a complaint against an MMS clip uploaded on the internet. The 23-second MMS, which has probably been captured on a smartphone, shows Mona (or her lookalike) posing for the camera and teasing in a semi-nude avatar. The video also shows her getting undressed and walking into a store room next to the kitchen. She then returns holding a bronze designer glass and winks at the camera suggestively.
Mona Singh says that the video is morphed and in fact the lady in the video is her lookalike. “Yes I am aware about a scandalous video in circulation. At this point of time all I can say is that this is a morphed video. I have taken relevant action against this and lodged a complaint at the cyber crime branch and investigation is on,” said Mona in an interview to a daily. Industry sources believe that this video has been circulated on the internet just to tarnish Mona Singh’s image as some people are envious of her success and popularity.

Official Promo: Ghanchakkar (2013)
The first trailer of director Rajkumar Gupta’s film Ghanchakkar is a delight to watch. It has Vidya Balan as an oversexed housewife, Emraan Hashmi as a forgetful husband, and Rajesh Sharma and Namit Das as his pesky partners in crime.
Emraan Hashmi plays Sanjay Athray, who, along with his two partners, pulls off some daring bank robberies. He stashes all the booty at someplace safe but when it comes to dividing the money, he loses his memory.
At home he’s got an oversexed Punjabi housewife (Vidya Balan) who dresses up kinkily to lure him into a bed-breaking romp. She strums the make-believe guitar on her devil dress, looks seductively at Emraan, and says, “bajaana hai”.
Things go awry when Emraan Hashmi’s two partners hold him hostage and refuse to let go until he tells them where the looted money is hidden. But he claims not to remember a thing. In fact, his easily excitable wife Vidya Balan is also not beyond doubt.
Who’s lying, who’s telling the truth? Has Emraan really lost his memory or is he just fooling everyone? Questions abound. Wait for answers on June 28 when the film hits theatres.
For the time being check out the first trailer of Ghanchakkar below. The film is written by Parvez Sheikh and Rajkumar Gupta and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
I will surrender says Sanjay Dutt
Sanjay Dutt, who has been ordered by the Supreme Court to return to jail to complete a five-year sentence in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, on Thursday said he has not sought any pardon and will surrender in time.
Amid a growing clamour for his clemency, the 53-year-old Bollywood actor said, “All I can tell you is I have not applied for pardon.
“There are many other people who deserve pardon. I want to tell with folded hands to the media, the honourable citizens of the country that when I am not going for pardon then there can be no debate about it,” said Dutt, who broke down during his interaction with the press here.
The actor, who has been handed down five years imprisonment by the Supreme Court in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, said he had the highest respect for the apex court and will abide by all terms and conditions put forth by it.
